Peter Biro is Associate Professor in Behavioural Ecology in the Faculty of Science, Engineering and Built Environment at Deakin University, within the School of Life and Environmental Sciences. His research interests include animal behavior, physiology, population ecology and statistics. Biro holds a BSc, MSc and PhD. He has contributed to research on topics such as consistent individual differences in behavior, predictability as a personality trait, and the effects of fishing on growth rate and behavior in fish populations.
Biro is based at the Geelong Waurn Ponds Campus. His work appears in journals including Trends in Ecology & Evolution and Animal Behaviour.
