Excellent lecturer with a great manner in teaching. Open for questions, available for feedback. Overall working with him in classes and taking his classes is great. Pedagogically I think he designs his classes well, lays them out well, and is aware of student difficulties: he can really put himself in your shoes and adjusts his teaching accordingly. Ordinarily I would say that would make him an excellent Professor. I have also worked with him in a research context where he has been consistently a nightmare to work with. For thesis work he has no patience and often reacts with frustration when students ask him questions. I have been on the other side of this and while working also seen other students be treated the same. As a teacher he will make you a better physicist. As researcher he caused me high levels of stress and it is a sentiment I think is shared by others in the group. Its been a while since I took the classes in 2021 but I assume his classes are still the same. Avoid working on a thesis with him for your own sake.
