Dr Tony Ma is an Adjunct Senior Lecturer in the School of Mathematical Sciences within the College of Sciences at Adelaide University. He holds the position of Program Director for the Master of Quantity Surveying and serves as Senior Lecturer for the Bachelor of Construction Management and Economics (with Honours). His research specializations encompass tendering process contracts, innovations in tender submission and evaluation, project procurement, integration of risk and value management, GMP and target cost contracting, and project success factors leading to procurement choices. Dr Ma is eligible to supervise Masters and PhD students and currently acts as co-supervisor for Mr Rob Freda's Doctor of Philosophy research on reforming the South Australian compliance and enforcement process for buildings during construction, commenced in 2019.
