Mrs Tracey Cramond (She/Her) serves as Lecturer in the School of Education within the College of Education, Behavioural and Social Sciences at Adelaide University. Her teaching responsibilities encompass a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses centered on health, physical education, science, and pedagogy for early childhood and primary education. These include EDUC 2006 Health and Physical Education in 2025 and 2024, EDUC 2030 Science Education in 2025, EDUC 2092 Professional Experience 2: Curriculum and Pedagogy (Early Childhood) in 2025, HLTH 1013 Fitness and Lifestyle Management in 2025, HLTH 2013 Health Risks and Relationship Education in 2025, EDUC 2078 Foundations in Learning and Teaching 2: Creating Positive Learning Environments in 2024, and EDUC 5254 Curriculum and Pedagogy 4 (HASS and Health and PE) in 2024. Through these courses, she contributes to the preparation of future educators in delivering effective curriculum in health promotion, physical activity, science instruction, positive classroom environments, professional experiences, and integrated pedagogy across humanities, arts, social sciences, health, and physical education.
Tracey Cramond engages in professional activities beyond teaching, including presenting the Move Learn Grow Program at the 2025 ACHPER SA Primary HPE Conference alongside Kelly Kroeger, an occupational therapist. The program is an evidence-based movement initiative designed by a physical education teacher and occupational therapist to meet children's developmental needs and foundational skills in an engaging manner. She is also enrolled in a part-time Master's thesis titled 'Investigation of a 'Move Learn Grow' program on early schooling child development,' with APrf Robyne Garrett as principal supervisor commencing in 2024. Additionally, Mrs Tracey Deanne Cramond acts as co-supervisor for a 2023 doctoral project on 'Measuring students mathematical resilience to inform teacher practice in the middle years' under APrf Lisa O'Keeffe. In 2018, she was quoted supporting a push for at least 30 minutes of daily physical education for primary school students in Australia.
