Ulrike (Uli) Ingram serves as Principal Lecturer of Geospatial Sciences, Geospatial Sciences Lab Manager, and Geospatial Sciences Program Coordinator in the Department of Geography and Anthropology at Kennesaw State University, within the Radow College of Humanities and Social Sciences. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs from Kennesaw State University and a Master of Arts in Geography from Georgia State University in 2006. Ingram's master's thesis examined the appeal of mega-churches in metro Atlanta, incorporating a spatial analysis of the distances that attendees are willing to drive to their churches.
Ingram began her teaching career at Kennesaw State University in 2006, joined the full-time faculty as a Lecturer in 2012, was promoted to Senior Lecturer in 2019, and advanced to Principal Lecturer effective Fall 2025 in recognition of her dedication to teaching, service, and student success. Prior to her academic roles, she worked over six years in GIS, specializing in utility mapping, and developed proficiency in software including the ESRI ArcGIS suite, Miner and Miner's ArcFM, and PDA's Origin extensions.
Ingram manages the GIS Lab, providing 24/7 access for student projects, oversees the GIS certificate program, and coordinates geospatial sciences courses. She contributes to open educational resources through development of no-cost materials for geography courses such as Introduction to Human Geography. As a mentor, she supports undergraduate research presented at the KSU Symposium of Student Scholars, enhancing skills in spatial analysis and geographic studies. Her leadership has made a lasting impact on the Geospatial Sciences program.
