Guyker's research specializations encompass meditation, mental health and wellness, self-regulation, wellness, and yoga, emphasizing positive embodiment and mindful practices. She co-developed the Mindful Self-Care Scale (MSCS) with Catherine P. Cook-Cottone, a tool validated across cultures and professions, including the MSCS Version 2.0 and Brief-MSCS.
