SUMMARY

The Department of History at SUNY Brockport is accepting applications for part-time adjunct faculty openings. The positions will be in-person.

JOB FUNCTIONS

Teaching (100%)

• Teaches assigned courses in the Department of History, specifically in modern U.S. history.
• Engages in experiential and hands-on education when appropriate
• Produces effective course materials
• Achieves student learning outcomes

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master's degree in relevant subject area from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an internationally recognized college or university, or equivalent professional experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Work experience in the relevant subject area; past teaching experience

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Work Schedule: Variable

Salary and Benefits:
$5,500 stipend per 3 credit course or 3 credit course equivalent. May be benefits eligible.
