"25-26 Postdoctoral Scholar (Pool Ad) - Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences"

The Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at the UC Irvine School of Medicine anticipates openings for Postdoctoral Scholars. Applications are being sought from recent Ph.D., M.D., or M.D./Ph.D. graduates in the field of Ophthalmology, Biochemistry, Microbiology or equivalent. Interdisciplinary skills and approaches in Immunology, Microbiology, Pathology, and/or Neuroscience are strongly desired. The incumbent will be expected to perform various lab tasks and work on current research projects related to ophthalmology disease and/or advancements in ophthalmology technology.

This is an ongoing recruitment. Positions are dependent on extramural funding.

Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must possess a Ph.D., M.D., or M.D./Ph.D. degree in the field of Ophthalmology, Biochemistry, Microbiology or equivalent.

Salary range: A reasonable estimate for this position is $64,480 - $77,327. See Table Postdoctoral Scholar- Represented- Fiscal Year - Exempt. See Table Postdoctoral Scholar- Represented- Fiscal Year - Non Exempt.
