Minimum Qualifications Active NYS medical license Valid DEA registration Board Certification in Family Medicine Active hospital staff privileges (where applicable) Enrollment in identified HMO's, Medicaid and Medicare, as well as workers' compensation (if applicable) Completion of graduate medical education program Completion of residency training program Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without visa sponsorship Preferred Qualifications Experience as a physician in an outpatient clinical setting Teaching experience Physical Demands Must be able to maintain a stationary position for extended periods while performing computer-based work. Must be able to move and traverse throughout patient care areas to provide services and respond to patient needs. Frequently operates, activates, uses, and positions computer equipment, telephones, keyboards, and other office-related technology. Must be able to detect, perceive, identify, recognize, and assess information both on computer screens and in the work environment. Occasionally moves, transports, positions, and removes items weighing up to 15 pounds. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this position.
