Accountant
Class Description
The purpose of this class is to oversee all aspects of the accounting administration, audit, and 990 for the Community College of Baltimore College Foundation.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting or business-related field required; CPA or Masters degree preferred. A minimum of four years of current accounting experience is required. Experience as an Accountant in a non-profit institution preferred. Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, including the standards of the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB 116 and 117), accounting and reporting for a non-profit institution. Proficient in computer skills and experience with all Microsoft Office Applications. Superior Excel skills to create analytical spreadsheets and general word processing for Board of Director meetings and presentations. Automated accounting system experience required, preferably in a non-profit institution. Experience with SCT Banner Student Information System and Raisers Edge/Financial Edge is preferred.
