Adjunct - AY26 Fire Technology Instructor
The Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD) is seeking dynamic, motivated, and diverse candidates for part-time Adjunct Fire Technology Instructor positions for the 2026 Academic Year. The role involves teaching a range of courses within the Fire Technology discipline, promoting engaging and inclusive educational environments that support student learning. Successful candidates will collaborate, communicate, and work professionally with students, staff, faculty, and administrators, while being culturally responsive to a diverse student population.
Minimum qualifications include: a Bachelor's degree or higher in any field plus two years of full-time related professional experience, or an Associate degree in any field plus six years of full-time related professional experience. The experience must be directly related to the teaching assignment. Applicants must also demonstrate sensitivity to the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.
Compensation starts at $86.85 per standard hour, plus a $20.32 office hour differential. Additional requirements include providing vaccination status or an approved exemption.
