"Adjunct - AY26 Media Arts Instructor"

The Los Angeles Community College District is seeking dynamic, motivated, and diverse candidates for part-time Media Arts Instructor positions. Successful candidates will teach a range of technical and theory courses in media arts, including production, cinematography, editing, and more. They must promote engaging and inclusive educational environments and be culturally responsive.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and two years of professional experience directly related to the teaching assignment, or Associate's degree and six years of such experience. A sensitivity to diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students is required.

Desirable Qualifications: Experience in professional film/media productions in areas like development, production, post-production, and teaching related courses. Skills in Adobe Creative Suite, Maya, etc., and online teaching experience are preferred.

Compensation: Salary begins at $86.85 per standard hour, plus a $20.32 office hour differential.
