"Part-Time Faculty: ILL 300.1 2D Animation with Harmony (Fall 2025)"

Exploration of traditional and contemporary approaches to 2D animation with a strong focus on the 2D animation application Harmony.

The School of Art within the College of Visual and Performing Arts seeks a Part-Time Instructor to teach ILL 300.1 2D Animation with Harmony, a three-credit hour course, during the Fall semester, 2025.

Qualifications: BFA, 3+ years teaching experience or professional experience, Experience in the field of animation and proficiency with the software Harmony.

Responsibilities: Teach weekly studio class per section, Hold demonstrations, Run critiques of the students work, Grade student work and evaluate their progress and hold office hours, Developing and/or updating a class syllabus, Preparation of lectures, projects or other student assignments, Maintaining regularly scheduled office hours, Presenting instruction based on the competencies and performance levels of the course, Meeting all designated class periods, Submitting completed mid-semester progress reports and final grades according to University regulations, Grading student assignments and exams in timely manner, Providing departmentally sanctioned forms for completed student evaluations, Building a positive rapport with students and other faculty.
