MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

To teach a full range of community college, Noncredit Vocation Education course offerings focused on Healthcare professional who work with patients and clients to help improve their behavior, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of professional experience related to the subject; or
• Associate's Degree and 6 years years of professional experience related to the subject; or
• Demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college faculty, staff, and students.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to teach covered topics such as problem behavior, interventions, and ethics and professionalism.
• Ability to teach classes in Spanish, Armenian and/or Russian;
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification.

VERIFICATION OF OCCUPATIONAL EXPERIENCE: DESIRABLE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

DUTIES

The adjunct instructor should be prepared to teach a range of Home Health Aides related courses within the Noncredit Vocational Education discipline... REMOTE LEARNING Faculty may be required to conduct classes in a virtual learning environment using Canvas, hybrid, or hyflex modalities to support remote learning...

COMPENSATION

The salary schedule for adjunct noncredit instructors begins at $86.85 per standard hour.
