"Adjunct, Cell Biology Lab"

Merrimack College is a selective, private college in a beautiful, residential setting — just minutes from Boston, Massachusetts.

Position Overview:

The Department of Natural Sciences invites applications for adjunct faculty to teach either one or both laboratory sections of Cell Biology at the undergraduate level. We currently have two labs available, they meet on Thursdays from 9:00 – 11:50am and 1:00 – 3:50pm. Duties include delivering laboratory instruction in a lab setting, organizing labs, and grading students’ assignments.

Qualifications:

• Hold at least a MS in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or related field
• College-level teaching and experience utilizing learning management systems (i.e.- Canvas) and technology in the classroom is highly desirable.

Compensation

Minimum: $5,000 per 4-credit course
Minimum: $3,750 per lab section
The actual pay offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as, but not limited to, candidate qualifications and prior experience, scope of responsibilities, internal equity, and market considerations.
