Adjunct English Faculty

The Department of English seeks applications for part-time faculty to teach courses in first- and second-year composition (ENGL 101 and ENGL 204) and Creative Writing (ENGL 130) for Fall 2025 and potentially Spring 2026. Most of these courses are in person, MWF daytime hours.

Job Requirements:

• Required Qualifications: An earned Master's Degree in English or related discipline.
• Preferred Qualifications: Ph.D. along with collegiate teaching experience preferred. A demonstrated commitment to promoting domestic diversity and/or global multiculturalism in the curriculum where appropriate.

Salary: Non-Unit Member per credit $1,496.70 / Per 3 credit class $4,490.19. For the third consecutive semester of teaching, instructors will be eligible to receive the unit member rate: Unit Member per credit $2,253.60 / Per 3 credit class $6,760.80.
