Pacific College of Health and Science is seeking a dynamic and passionate individual to join our Acupuncture Department as an Adjunct Faculty member at the New York Campus.

Job Summary: This position involves teaching hands-on courses in a classroom setting. The curriculum includes essential subjects such as Acupuncture Channel Theory and Points, Needle Techniques, Advanced Needle Techniques, Auricular Acupuncture, Treatment of Orthopedic Disorders, Secondary Vessels, and Combined Point Applications.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Doctoral degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (DAC, DACM, DAOM, DACCHM, or equivalent).
• Active Diplomate status with the National Certification Board for Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine (Previously NCCAOM).
• Valid acupuncture license in good standing with the New York State Department of Education.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in acupuncture practice.
• Demonstrated experience in live classroom teaching at the higher education level.

Desired Qualifications:

• Prior teaching experience at the graduate level.
• A comprehensive teaching portfolio demonstrating a student-centered teaching philosophy.
• Proficiency in instructional technology to enhance the learning experience.
• Familiarity with Moodle or other Learning Management Systems.

Salary Expectations: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour
