Primary Purpose of the Organization: Welcome to the Department of Chemistry, Physics and Materials Science (CPMS) at Fayetteville State University (FSU). FSU Chemistry program is approved by the American Chemical Society (ACS).
Primary Purpose of the Position: The Department of Chemistry, Physics, and Materials Science at Fayetteville State University seeks temporary (adjunct) instructors to teach introductory and service courses in chemistry, physics, geology, and the physical sciences for science majors, as well as nursing and other non-science majors. This posting is continuous to develop a qualified pool of interested candidates. Adjunct positions are employed for one semester of one year only on a part-time or full-time basis. Rank is dependent upon credentials.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: Ph.D. or Master's degree with 18 credit hours in the desired teaching discipline. Experience with Online Education delivery is beneficial. All degrees must be from accredited institutions. Individual programs require specific licensure/certification.
