Adjunct Faculty, Chinese Medicine
Pacific College of Health and Science is seeking a dynamic and passionate individual to join our Chinese Medicine Department as an Adjunct Faculty member at the New York campus.
Job Summary: This position involves teaching courses in a classroom and online setting. The curriculum includes essential subjects such as Foundations of Chinese Medicine, Tongue and Pulse Diagnosis, and Advanced Diagnostic courses in the Diagnosis and Treatment of Disease series.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (DAC, DACM, DAOM, DACCHM, or equivalent).
- Active Diplomate status with the National Certification Board for Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine (Previously NCCAOM).
- Valid acupuncture license in good standing with the New York State Department of Education.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in acupuncture practice.
- Demonstrated experience in live classroom teaching at the higher education level.
Desired Qualifications:
- Prior teaching experience at the graduate level.
- A comprehensive teaching portfolio demonstrating a student-centered teaching philosophy.
- Proficiency in instructional technology to enhance the learning experience.
- Familiarity with Moodle or other Learning Management Systems.
Salary Expectations: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour
