Harper College Mathematics and Sciences provides transfer ready courses in computer sciences, engineering and mathematics.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Starting Pay Rate: Per Adjunct Faculty Pay Scale

Schedule Information: On campus 2:00 to 4:00pm on Mondays and Wednesdays

Job Description: Teaching BIO 230 Microbiology

Education Requirements

Master's degree in biology with experience teaching microbiology; or a master’s degree in a related field with at least 18 graduate credit hours in biological science, plus experience teaching microbiology.

Experience Requirements

Recent college-level teaching experience in both lecture and lab environments, and ability to work with course management systems such as Blackboard are the preferred qualifications.

Applicable Benefits

We offer a competitive, semester by semester adjunct pay, with some tuition waivers available after 3 semesters; sick and personal business leave; and a comprehensive Adjunct Faculty Development Program.

The pay rates are aligned with the terms outlined in the collective bargaining agreement.
