Adjunct Faculty
Kean University in Union, New Jersey, is seeking Adjunct Faculty to teach undergraduate and graduate level courses or perform clinic supervision in speech-language pathology at the Union campus.
Requirements: A master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, CCC-SLP, and New Jersey licensure are required. All adjunct positions are non-tenure track and require a master's degree in a related field and teaching experience. Candidates with an ABD, Ed.D., Ph.D., or other acceptable disciplinary doctorate are encouraged to apply. Proficiency in a Learning Management System is required.
Adjunct faculty must provide office hours: At least one hour outside of the classroom per week for each three or four credit class, or thirty minutes for classes under three credits.
Salary: Effective September 2024, $1,975 per credit; September 2025, $2,100 per credit; September 2026, $2,225 per credit. Adjuncts receive an additional $75 per credit beginning in their 13th semester taught.
