Position Purpose

New England College seeks part-time faculty to teach undergraduate Education courses face-to-face on our Henniker, NH campus. Courses are for education majors seeking educator licensure with the State of NH. Day time (8:00-4:30), face-to-face Henniker campus availability is a priority.

Essential Duties Summary

• Engage all students and facilitate and achieve course learning outcomes
• Review and grade all work submitted by students providing timely and substantive feedback
• Coach struggling students toward success
• Provide 'experiential learning' opportunities when possible
• Support and facilitate course signature assessments
• Adhere to State of NH Department of Education teacher preparation standards
• Maintain twice-a-week, face-to-face

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge and use of effective and innovative pedagogy, curriculum design and learning outcome alignment.
• Experience in the field
• Prior teaching and proven record of teaching effectiveness.
• Master's Degree in Education or related field
• Current NH State Teaching Certification.
