The Opportunity:
Unity Environmental University seeks adjunct faculty to support environmental crime and criminal justice coursework within the Applied Bachelor of Science in Environmental Crime Investigation.
This major blends criminal justice foundations with environmental regulation, investigative methods, and systems thinking.
Course Needing Adjunct Faculty
ENCJ 2010 – Administrative Structure and Criminal Justice
Introduces students to the structure, functions, and administrative processes of criminal justice systems, with attention to environmental crime enforcement and regulatory contexts.
Qualifications
Who We’re Looking For
Faculty who:
- Have expertise in criminal justice, environmental enforcement, regulatory policy, or investigative practice.
- Can translate justice system structures into accessible, practical learning for adult students.
- Value ethical practice, procedural justice, and environmental responsibility.
- Are comfortable teaching online with AI-supported tools.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s in Criminal Justice, Law, Public Administration, Environmental Policy, or related field.
- Relevant field experience strongly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in environmental enforcement, compliance, or investigative work.
- Experience teaching adult or professional learners.

The Location:
Unity Environmental University's Distance Education curriculum is 100% online. Our Distance Education Adjuncts will teach remotely and are required to reside within the United States for the entire duration of the academic term in which they are teaching. It is the responsibility of the adjunct to ensure that they are working in a state that aligns with the tax information reported to HR.
