Adjunct Faculty of Water Resources Managmenet
POSITION SUMMARY: Central State University invites applications for an Adjunct faculty position in the Department of Engineering and Technology in the area of Water Resources Management & Geology. This is an in-person teaching appointment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Teach Water Resources Management and/or Geology courses necessary for Water Resources Management, Sustainable Agriculture, and Environmental Engineering programs • Maintain office hours
Minimum Qualifications: • Doctoral or Master’s Degree in Water Resources Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geology, or a closely related field. • Minimum one year of teaching experience at the university level • Strong evidence of scholarship and teaching in manufacturing engineering and industrial technology.
Preferred Qualifications: • Dedication to ensuring excellence in curriculum delivery, development, and improvement. • Experience and interest in teaching students from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds are essential. • Ability to use technology in instruction and student advising. • Demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to the role of a comprehensive college in a multicultural setting. • Evidence of the possession of those qualities of character, personality and competence expected in a teacher
