Adjunct Faculty - Philosophy, Department of Philosophy and World Religions
Job Details
The Department of Philosophy and World Religions seeks adjunct faculty for the following philosophy courses: Logic of Everyday Reasoning [informal logic], Philosophical Perspectives on Science [a gen-ed philosophy of science course for non-majors], Intro to Philosophy, Intro to Ethics, Social & Political Philosophy, Intro to Symbolic Logic, and other courses.
Qualifications: Candidates must have a Master’s degree. Previous university teaching experience is preferred.

Please note: candidates must be eligible to work in the United States. The University will not sponsor a visa for this position.
In compliance with The State of New Jersey's Pay Transparency Act, and in accordance with the current MOA, Rowan University adjuncts are provided with a minimum of $1,975 per credit for all courses taught, with a maximum teaching load of 8 credits per semester and 12 credits in an academic year. Courses will be assigned to instructors by College & Department on an as-needed basis.
