Adjunct Faculty POOL- Culinary Arts Instructor (2025-2026 Academic Year)
Walla Walla Community College seeks applicants for a part-time Adjunct Culinary Arts Instructor on the Walla Walla campus for the 2025-2026 academic year. Responsibilities include teaching assigned classes, providing syllabi, evaluating student performance, and maintaining records in the College's LMS. For 1st Year Instructor: Fall 2025 courses include Introduction to Culinary Arts, Basic Culinary Principles, and Culinary Ag I; Winter 2026: Culinary Arts Methods, Baking & Pastry, and Culinary Agriculture II; Spring 2026: Culinary Agriculture III and A la Carte I. For 2nd Year Instructor: Fall 2025: Restaurant Management and A la Carte II; Winter 2026: Service Management and A la Carte III; Spring 2026: Garde Manger, World Cuisines, and Culinary Agriculture III.
Required qualifications: Associates Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent, and demonstrated proficiency as an Executive Chef and/or teaching Culinary Arts at the college level (minimum two years). Preferred: Experience teaching at a Community College, using various teaching modalities, and bilingual skills (English/Spanish).
