Adjunct Faculty - Veterinary Technology
Baker College of Muskegon is seeking to fill an Adjunct Faculty position for our Veterinary Technology Program!
Candidates for this position must possess a Master's degree with LVT Credential. A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DMV) is strongly preferred. Previous teaching experience is preferred. Additionally, the candidate must be proficient with computers, including Microsoft Office Suite, Google Apps, and internet usage.
In this role, you'll be responsible for delivering courses in line with the Faculty Workload Policy, ensuring your teaching strategies align with the Baker College Learning Model. You'll creatively integrate learning technologies and platforms to help students meet their academic goals. As needed, you'll refine, update, or design curriculum to stay current and effective. Ongoing Professional Development training will be part of your growth journey. You'll also gather and submit essential student learning assessments, providing thoughtful, constructive feedback to guide their progress. Participation in the Faculty Growth and Evaluation Process is expected, as well as involvement in key committees, subcommittees, projects, and other activities that contribute to the academic community.
The chosen candidate will believe in and support the student first philosophy while contributing to the overall success of Baker College, while acting as a positive role model and brand ambassador on and off campus. Establishing robust external relationships to bolster Baker College's vision and mission will also be a key responsibility.
