Salary: Non-Unit Member per credit $1,496.70 / Per 3 credit class $4,490.19. For the third consecutive semester of teaching instructors will be eligible to receive the unit member rate. Unit Member per credit $2,253.60 / Per 3 credit class $6,760.80.

General Statement of Duties: Potentially teach one or two General Chemistry I laboratory course for the Fall 2025 semester.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Teach one lab section of General Chemistry I, the first semester of a typical two semester general chemistry sequence, that meets once a week for 3 hours.
• Support student learning outside of the lab.
• Coordinate with other laboratory and lecture instructors.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in chemistry, Ph.D. preferred, or equivalent
• Prior teaching at the college level, prior teaching a chemistry lab is preferred.
