Job Description

St. Cloud State University is seeking applications for potential adjunct instructors who qualify to teach graduate courses in the Counselor Education programs in the College of Health and Wellness Professions – Department of Behavioral Health and Counseling.

Individuals interested in being considered for part-time, on campus or online adjunct teaching positions in the BHCO department should have the following required qualifications.

This adjunct position will remain open for 1 year to allow departments’ access to candidate pools when there is a need to hire an adjunct to teach a course(s) during defined academic semester(s). Compensation is per credit, the current credit rate is a minimum of $1819 per credit.

Minimum Qualifications

For teaching undergraduate ABA courses, applicant must have a master’s degree in ABA or closely related field and must have BCBA certification.

For teaching graduate ABA courses, applicant must have a Ph.D. in ABA or closely related field and BCBA-D certification.

Evidence of previous teaching and/or ABA clinical experience.

Evidence of the ability to teach and work with persons from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Qualification

Previous teaching and or supervision experience in a graduate level ABA program.
