Adjunct Instructor
Job Description
Wentworth Institute of Technology is seeking applicants interested in joining the Wentworth community as part-time adjunct faculty for the Civil Engineering Program to teach Senior Capstone Environmental Engineering and Site/Civil/Construction, and electives related to environmental engineering in the Douglas D. Schumann School of Engineering in Summer 2026 (May-August).

Douglas D. Schumann School of Engineering currently offers eight ABET-accredited engineering programs in Biological, Biomedical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Electromechanical, Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering with two new engineering programs in progress. In addition to the undergraduate programs, the School offers three graduate programs in Civil, Electrical and Computer, and Mechanical Engineering.

- Preferred Work Experience: 3 years
Adjunct faculty compensation varies based on instructional mode (lecture or lab), number of course credits, and program. The minimum adjunct rate is $1,365 per credit.
