"Adjunct Instructor - Heavy Equipment Repair Technician"

Job Summary: Adjunct Positions are filled by semester on an as needed basis. Applicants in this applicant pool are reviewed when the department has an immediate need to fill a vacancy. Heavy Equipment Repair instructors must be able to effectively communicate and demonstrate knowledge of specific technical skills with heavy mobile equipment in a lab and classroom environment to a diverse student population. The ability to adjust instructional techniques as required by student’s learning style, maintain a positive learning environment, and collaborate with learners and peers in order to establish a positive and collaborative learning environment are very important. Basic computer skills are a must. Classes may be scheduled during daytime and/or evening hours. *Open to current AIS Instructors only* *Regular on campus presence is expected for all LCC employment. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in an industry-related field and a minimum of two (2) years of relevant industry experience; OR Associate's Degree in heavy equipment repair with a minimum of five (5) years recent and relevant experience in the equipment industry; OR High School diploma or GED with a minimum of seven (7) years relevant industry experience. Current AIS Instructor.
