Adjunct Instructor - Human Gross Anatomy - Bellarmine University
Job Description
The Department of Biology at Bellarmine University seeks adjunct instructors to teach the lecture and laboratory session of Gross Anatomy (BIOL 435/435L) during the Spring Semester of 2026. The course description for BIOL435/435L is as follows: "Human gross anatomy will be explored via cadaver dissection. All organ systems will be examined. Students will be introduced to basic radiographic osteology as well as common traumatic injury." The class consists of undergraduate college students primarily majoring in Biology, Biochemistry & Molecular Biology or Neuroscience. The course consists of lectures presenting the anatomy of the specific systems/regions being covered each week/class. These will integrate prior biology coursework and pathologic/forensic case studies with clinical anatomy. Lectures will be followed by student dissection of human cadavers under faculty direction.
Course meeting times: Lecture - Tuesday/Thursday: 8:00-9:20AM; Labs - Tuesday/Thursday 9:35AM-12:00PM. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience teaching human gross anatomy and leading student dissection of all systems in human cadavers. The spring semester extends from 01/05/26 to 04/30/26.

Job Requirements:
- Masters Degree in Biology or related field required with academic training in Human Anatomy.
- Teaching experience in Human Gross Anatomy
- Human Gross Anatomy lab experience required.
