Job Description:

The Department of Mechanical Technology at SUNY Broome Community College is seeking a talented and experienced Adjunct Instructor to join our team! We're looking for a highly qualified individual to teach and mentor students entering the Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering Technician career path. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Mechanical engineering technology, with expertise in areas such as circuit analysis, electronics, and control systems.

As an Adjunct Instructor, you'll be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses and contributing to the department's outreach activities. We want to hear from you if you're passionate about sharing your knowledge and expertise with the next generation of engineers!

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Robotics Engineering, or a related field is required. A Master's degree is preferred.
• Mechanical Curriculum Experience: Require proficiency with core mechanical course curriculum with labs and class room material preparation.
• CNC Programming Experience: Require proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM), as well as knowledge of materials, machine operations, and production processes.
• Applicants should be comfortable in the learner-centered classroom and have a strong commitment to the community college mission.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without a visa sponsorship.
