General Summary

This is an Open Pool posting for Adjunct Instructors in the Communication, Art, and Design (CA&D) Department at Middlesex Community College. While there may not be immediate openings, qualified applicants will be considered for future course sections as needed. The CA&D Department supports an interdisciplinary and equity-minded curriculum that prepares students for careers in media, design, and communication fields.

In addition to the general pool, we are currently seeking instructors for the following courses:

  • ART 103 - Drawing for Communication & Design

Students learn concept development, storytelling, and design problem-solving through projects such as animated logos, typography, and short character sequences, with applications in visual communication, film, and branding.
  • ART 278 - Coding for Web Design
  • This course provides students with foundational coding skills—HTML, CSS, and JavaScript—to create professional, responsive, and accessible websites. Emphasizing real-world web development practices, students build interactive digital products that integrate visual design, UX/UI principles, and coding best practices.
