Position Summary:

The department is establishing a pool of applicants to fill potential part-time temporary teaching positions.

Major Responsibilities:

A classroom based 3 credit hour course pays $4500 per class. The department typically hires for the courses/subject areas listed below but this list is not all inclusive. Other courses/subject areas may become available within the department. ILLUSTRATIVE NEEDS INCLUDE: Beginning Spanish I, Beginning Spanish II, Intermediate Spanish I, Intermediate Spanish II.

Required Qualifications:

• K-12 or college experience teaching Spanish
• Master's degree in Spanish

Preferred Qualifications:

• Native-like fluency in Spanish
• Experience using technology in teaching
