Position Summary

The School of Nursing and Health Sciences at Holy Family University seeks a dedicated Adjunct Pharmacology Instructor to join our Family Nurse Practitioner program.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Teaching advanced practice nursing students, and imparting cognitive and effective, critical thinking and psychomotor skills appropriate for the advanced professional.
  • The applicant may be required to teach courses through alternative delivery methods including course learning management systems as well as other technology.

Qualifications

The preferred candidates will hold a Pennsylvania State Certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner (Primary Care) or Adult-Gerontology nurse practitioner (Primary Care) and hold ANCC National Certification as a Family Practitioner (Primary Care) or Adult-Gerontology nurse practitioner (Primary Care).

Candidates will have at least 5 years of pharmacist practice in the past five years and 1-2 years of teaching experience.

Advanced degree in Pharmacology or a related field.

Ability to implement a course that meets program accreditation standards.
