Adjunct Professor of Sociology--Spring 2026
Job Summary
The Department of Social Sciences, History, and Criminal Justice (part of the Maxwell Becton College of Arts and Sciences) at Fairleigh Dickinson University is looking for part-time (adjunct) faculty to teach sections of Sociology starting in Spring 2026. Sections are 3 credit hours and meet Monday-Thursday, Tuesday-Friday, or as a double block on different days including Wednesday. At this time, we are looking for someone to teach two sections of Introduction to Sociology.
Required Qualifications
The ideal candidate would have a Ph.D. in Sociology. We will be happy to consider you if you have an advanced degree in Sociology and/or are an advanced graduate school student with teaching experience in a University setting.
