About the Job

Job Description

Provide classroom teaching for courses that supplement the faculty offerings and/or expertise of the faculty. Provides a source of classroom substitute instructions.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • (25%) Prepare course materials, assignments and exams
  • (25%) Prepare and deliver weekly lectures.
  • (10%) Hold office hours
  • (10%) Supervise the course website
  • (10%) Answer student questions
  • (10%) Supervise the course teaching assistants
  • (10%) Supervise and participate in grading, give grades

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree in computer science or related field.
  • Must have demonstrated competence to teach the course material.

Preferred Qualification:

  • Professional and/or teaching experience related to assigned instructional responsibilities.

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range: $7,000.00 to $14,100.00 as a fixed amount; depending on education/qualifications/experience.
