Job Summary
The University of North Georgia is accepting applications for an Administrative Assistant III. The Administrative Assistant will coordinate administrative processes for the Computer Science Department Head and Director of the Institute for Cyber Operations within the College of Science & Mathematics. Responsibilities include the management of budgets, travel, hiring, personnel, and administrative workflows.

Responsibilities
- Provides assistance to Computer Science department, working closely with department head. May provide some assistance to cyber security grant programs. Assistance may be requested by other faculty, staff, students, and the administration team.
- Maintains and tracks departmental/center operating budgets for all campuses. Makes allowable purchases, tracks spending and prepares purchase paperwork for the department. Will work closely with the CSM Dean's Administrative Assistant.
- Manages fiscal, administrative, and academic records and prepares correspondence, agendas, reports, and other documents for the Department Head and Institute for Cyber Operations Director.
- Assists with the on-boarding process for new CS hires within the college.
- Works with the Department Head to create departmental and summer schedules and cross-check room assignments and times.
- Oversees candidate recruitment visits for departmental search committees.
- Facilitates the coordination of catering requests and space reservations. Reviews and processes travel for faculty within the department. Schedules and arranges meetings for the Department Head. Assists in submitting work orders to plant operations, IT or other university entities for work needed within the department.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- One year of clerical or administrative experience required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proposed Salary
The proposed salary is: $18.34-$20.17 hour.
