POSITION SUMMARY
The Enterprise Application Administrator is a central member of the Information Technology team, responsible for the day-to-day configuration, maintenance, and support of Le Moyne College’s portfolio of enterprise and academic applications. This role ensures that systems such as the Learning Management System (LMS) and administrative tools are reliable, secure, and easy to use.
This is a hands-on role designed for a professional with a strong technical foundation who can troubleshoot issues, manage user access, and help faculty and staff effectively utilize college technology. The Administrator works closely with the IT Service Desk to resolve escalated issues and partners with stakeholders to improve business processes.
Reporting Structure: This position has dual reporting to Enterprise Systems and Instructional Design and Academic Technology units. Daily priorities are co*ordinated to ensure a balanced workload.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Application Administration & Maintenance
- Act as an Application Administrator for core applications including Canvas, Kaltura, Watermark, Workday Learning, Ellucian Colleague, Atlassian Jira, Informer, and Hyland OnBase.
- Manage system configurations, settings, and release updates.
- Monitor system health and performance, performing routine maintenance and data validation.
- Manage user accounts and permissions, ensuring access is granted accurately based on college policies.
Technical Support (Tier 2)
- Serve as the Tier 2 escalation point for technical issues such as login failures, integration errors between systems, and permission conflicts.
- Work with software vendors to log and track support tickets for system bugs or outages.
User Training & Onboarding
- Support the onboarding of new faculty and staff by ensuring their accounts are set up correctly and providing initial system orientation.
- Develop and maintain internal documentation and training resources, including user guides, "how-to" articles, and video tutorials for supported applications.
- Conduct ad-hoc training sessions or workshops for departments to help them understand new features or best practices.

Pay Range: $25.50 - $27.00 per hour
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree and 3 years of professional experience required.
- Preference will be given to candidates with 1+ year(s) of specialized experience in application administration or IT support.
- Troubleshooting: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues involving user access, browser compatibility, and data errors.
- Communication: Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical steps patiently to non-technical users and create clear documentation.
- Academic: Canvas, Kaltura, Watermark, Astra Schedule.
- Enterprise & Operations: Ellucian Colleague, Workday, Hyland OnBase, Atlassian Jira, Entrinsik Informer, Transact Door Access Control.
