Primary Purpose of the Position:
The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the initial point of contact with the University for students, parents, and counselors. The employee will cultivate prospects, applicants, and admitted students through a variety of recruiting activities. The Admissions Counselor is responsible for planning and executing targeted recruiting initiatives and managing an assigned territory, including event planning and management to support enrollment goals.
The Admissions Counselor will engage with prospective students by answering incoming calls, making outbound calls, and responding to emails and web inquiries with the objective of assisting each student through the enrollment process-from application to enrollment.
Preferred Years Experience,Skills, Training , Education:
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM systems is a plus.
- A genuine passion for helping students and a commitment to higher education.
