Designs digital and print materials for prospective and
admitted students, recruitment initiatives, and admissions events,
including flyers, invitations, signage, event materials, T-shirt
designs, and other promotional materials;
Creates graphics and visual assets for admissions email
campaigns and other digital communications;
Creates and updates admissions PowerPoint presentations;
Collaborates with the Admissions Office to develop creative
concepts and execute design projects from initial idea through
final product;
Edits and updates existing admissions graphics, templates, and
promotional materials;
Prepares design materials for digital distribution and print
production;
Organizes and maintains admissions design files, templates, and
visual assets;
Assists with photography, photo selection, and basic photo
editing, as needed;
Manages multiple design projects and accurately and efficiently
meet established deadlines; and
Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in graphic design, visual communications, or a
related field;
- Demonstrated proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite,
particularly Photoshop, InDesign, and/or Illustrator;
- Strong understanding of layout, typography, visual hierarchy,
and brand consistency;
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce polished,
accurate work;
- Organizational and time-management skills;
- Ability to work independently and manage projects with limited
day-to-day supervision;
- Ability to accurately and efficiently meet deadlines;
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint;
and
- For fully remote work, reliable access to a computer and
internet connection capable of supporting the position’s design
responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience designing materials for higher education, nonprofit,
professional, or similar organizations;
- Experience with photography and photo editing;
- Experience with Canva or similar web-based design
platforms;
- Experience with web design or creating graphics for digital
platforms;
- Familiarity with HTML; and
- Experience developing materials within established
institutional branding guidelines.
