Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent, preferably in a liberal
arts discipline.
Excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills
as well as confidence and clarity in public speaking.
Facility with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and related database and
word processing applications.

ability to manage competing priorities.

Key Accountabilities
Description
Admissions Functions - Plans, organizes and manages all
admissions activities, including general and targeted recruitment
travel, for a designated geographic region. Represents Dartmouth at
school visits, college fairs and related recruitment events.
Completes the preliminary evaluation of at least 1,200
undergraduate applications per year. Assists with the coordination
of recruitment projects and outreach initiatives. Espouses the
enduring value of a liberal arts education and securing a
high-achieving and diverse student body.

Communications – Communicates with applicants, parents, and
secondary school officials regarding decisions and policies.
Conducts on campus information sessions for visiting students and
their families. Develops internet-based relationships with
prospective students through email and other channels. Provides
