Job Title: Advanced Practice Provider (APP)/FNP/PNP/PA/Pediatrics/Sie Center/Instructor

Position #: 00008284 – Requisition #:38942 Job Summary: Clinical care of infants, children and adolescents with Down syndrome in an outpatient setting and participation in clinical research including clinical trials and quality improvement projects. Key Responsibilities:
  • Primary responsibility for the treatment and management of infants, children and adolescents with Down syndrome at our outpatient clinic or Network of Care locations.
  • Serve as the medical provider in multidisciplinary team visits providing evaluation and treatment of infants, children and adolescents with Down syndrome.
  • Provide clinical supervision for advanced practice nursing, physician assistant and/or medical students.
  • Contribute to ongoing clinical research projects, clinical trials and quality improvement efforts.
Work Location: Onsite – this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Aurora, Colorado. There are many additional perks & programs with the CU Advantage. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master's or Doctoral degree in nursing or physician assistant (MPAS)
  • Eligible for licensure in Colorado as an Advance Practice Nurse (FNP, PNP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
Condition of Employment:
  • Must successfully pass a drug test through Children's Hospital Colorado
  • Must be willing and able to pass a national criminal background check

If drug testing is required, it will be listed in the job posting.* Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of nursing or advanced practice experience in general pediatrics, developmental pediatrics or a pediatric subspecialty
  • Prescriptive authority in Colorado
  • Research experience

  • Broad knowledge and clinical skills in general pediatrics and child development
  • Commitment to Patient Safety, Quality Care, Communication, and Customer Service
