Job Summary

The Section of Pediatric Colorectal Surgery in the Division of Pediatric Surgery, Department of Surgery at the University of Colorado School of Medicine has one (1) full-time (1.0 FTE - 40 hours per week) faculty position available at the rank of Instructor for a Pediatric General Surgery Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician's Assistant (PA). Under the direction of the full-time faculty or designee, this position provides inpatient and outpatient medical care services at Children's Hospital Colorado (CHCO) for the Pediatric Colorectal Center.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide independent, high-quality clinical care for pediatric colorectal surgery patients at Children's Hospital Colorado (CHCO), across inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Deliver comprehensive care across multiple specialized multidisciplinary clinics
• Conduct outpatient telehealth visits
• Participate in inpatient care management
• Support specialized programmatic care delivery
• Ensure safe and coordinated surgical care
• Collaborate closely with pediatric colorectal surgeons and interdisciplinary care teams
