Application Developer

Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking an Application Developer for the Office of Information Technology. Reporting to the Project Manager, this position will be responsible for supporting the implementation of Oracle HCM Cloud and providing ongoing support for both Oracle HCM Cloud and legacy Oracle PeopleSoft HCM. The role will focus on ensuring a smooth transition to Oracle HCM Cloud while maintaining critical PeopleSoft HCM functionalities until full migration is completed.

Among the key duties of this position are the following:

• Responsibilities include, design, develop and implement Oracle HCM Extracts, Fast Formulas, BI Publisher Reports, and HCM Data Loader (HDL) solutions to meet business needs.
• Support ongoing system optimizations, quarterly updates, and new feature adoption in Oracle HCM Cloud.
• This position will also provide day-to-day support to UHR and Payroll as well as troubleshoot production problems and provide Help Desk support.
• Will provide subject matter and technical expertise to junior staff.

Minimum Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience with four or more years of progressive experience in a technical or techno-functional capacity, with at least three of the years dedicated to implementing or supporting Oracle HCM applications, including PeopleSoft HCM and/or Oracle HCM Cloud.
