Job Summary:
Manages staff and provides guidance for the day-to-day operations
of the Sandy and John Black Pavilion.
Job Description:
Manages the complete operations of the SJB Pavilion to include
internal and external events, monitoring the budget and supervising
facility and event staff to ensure that operations run efficiently,
economically, and in line with institutional and organizational
policies and conference guidelines.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversees all aspects of the area operations including event
conversions, building and grounds maintenance, custodial services,
building equipment and safety procedures.
Initiates and provides direction in event planning,
administering budgets, cost control measures and superior guest
services.
Supervises expenditures of capital and operating funds and
maintains controls to ensure budget appropriations are not
exceeded.
Hires, schedules, supervises and trains conversion crews,
maintenance personnel, contract labor sources, event specific crews
and custodial service personnel
Serves as liaison between building and clients regarding
technical and operational issues such as staffing,
power distribution, rigging and equipment use.
Ensures all assigned tasks are in compliance with department,
University, Southeastern Conference, and NCAA rules and
regulations.

$62,441.60 - $93,641.60
