Job Description Summary

The College of Nursing at Auburn University, located in Auburn, Alabama, invites Family Nurse Practitioners to join our faculty in the Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (PCNP) Program. We have an opening for a full-time, 12-month, on-campus, clinical track position to begin immediately. The primary area of teaching will be in the MSN Program/PCNP track.

Minimum Qualifications

Requires a doctorate in nursing or a relevant discipline (DNP, PhD, or EdD), current Family Nurse Practitioner certification, current clinical skills, and eligibility for, or possession of, an unencumbered multistate RN license at the time of employment. Must be in or able to establish a collaborative practice in a primary care or family practice setting.

Desired Qualifications

3-5 years of NP practice in a primary care or family practice setting, emergency nurse practitioner or psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner certification, and current graduate teaching experience in an accredited family or primary care nurse practitioner program is desired.
