Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Chemistry/Biochemistry
Grove City College announces a faculty opening in the Department of Chemistry. Successful candidates should have a Ph.D. in biochemistry or pharmaceutical science. Responsibilities include teaching Biochemistry, General Chemistry, Biology, and advanced undergraduate chemistry courses in their field in a challenging curriculum.
Preference will be given to candidates who have demonstrated a commitment to student-faculty research and are motivated to mentor undergraduate students in research projects.
Grove City College’s Chemistry program houses four major programs of study, including Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemistry leading to Secondary Education Certification, and Chemistry and General Science leading to Secondary Education Certification. The Chemistry Department includes eight faculty members and over 70 students.
Candidates must demonstrate a strong potential for excellence in classroom teaching, including students in research, and a commitment to educating highly motivated students within the context of Grove City College’s historic Christian perspective. Salary commensurate with qualifications.
