Successful applicants will:
- Have a strong background in, as well as demonstrated potential for, excellence contributing to program's mission of preparing multiculturally competent psychologists who are prepared to work with racially diverse clients.
- Have an established publication record and/or research agenda that advances the program's emphasis on race and other issues of diversity.
- Have opportunity to participate in leadership opportunities including the role of Training Director, if desired, and if applying at the associate level.
- Teach graduate courses in our APA accredited Counseling Psychology doctoral program, as well as core master's level classes in counseling psychology.
- Serve in this appointment for Fall/Spring semesters with the possibility for summer teaching assignments for additional compensation.
- Teach at the Kalamazoo's main campus and possibly at the Grand Rapids campus.
- Chair and serve on doctoral dissertation committees.
- Advise master's students in Counseling Psychology program.
- Contribute to the Counseling Psychology Training Committee and participate in departmental, college, and university committee work and professional service.
- Provide clinical supervision for practicum and internship students.
